A brief History of Agencia Hispana
Agencia Hispana started in the early 1980’s by Antonia S. Romero and Carlos J. Romero. It began as volunteer work, giving back to the community.
Carlos and Antonia fought alongside immigration and civil rights activist Adelfa Callejo among others. In 1996 they moved their offices to Oak Cliff where they remained for more than 15 years and throughout those years they carried their sense of activism towards their community. They helped many immigrant families adjust to a new life in the U.S. and many years later their daughter would continue their legacy.
In 2008 Ms. Jackie S Briseno inherited the family business and relocated their office to a new location, 825 N. Bishop Ave. located inthe heart of Oak Cliff. Here she kept the family legacy alive, never forgetting the core values this company was founded on. Empowerment of a marginalized community.
In the turn of the decade Agencia Hispana would face Hurdle after hurdle. Starting in 2020 we, along with the rest of world would deal with an unprecedented prepandemic. The effects of which would be devastating for years. Then in 2022 as the new year began, our office tragically burned down and forced us to relocate. However, throuhghout all obsticles, we did what we do best, we worked hard and moved fowards. By the February we were able to get our office running again within a few weeks we began helping customers. Now we are located at 125 Centre St. Dallas, TX 75208, with the same friendly staff ready to help you any way we can.
Througout all events, between the early life of our company in the 1990’s, the change in ownership and passing of the tourch in the late 2010’s, to the tragic events in the early 2020’s; the goals and missions of Agencia Hispana have remained the same. We offer you a chance to experience, what all our clients from the oldest to the newest, the commitment we have to help our customers. We take pride in our work and love what we do.
