About Us

Agencia Hispana started in the early 1980’s by Antonia S. Romero and Carlos J. Romero. It began as volunteer work, giving back to the community.

Carlos and Atonia fought alongside immigration and civil rights activist Adelfa Callejo among others. In 1996 they moved their offices to Oak Cliff where they remained for more than 15 years and throughout those years they carried their sense of activism towards their community.

In 2008 Ms. Jackie S Briseno inherited the family business and opened a new office at 825 N. Bishop Ave. Here she kept the family legacy alive, never forgetting the core values this company was founded on. Empowerment of a marginalized community is something we strived for and always have.

In 2022 as the new year began, our office tragically burned down and forced us to relocate. However we did what we do best, we worked hard, and we were able to get our office running again within a few weeks. Now we are located at 125 Centre St. Dallas, TX 75208, where we still offer the same services to the public and our goals and values have not changed.

Our goal is to educate the community on topics such as, immigration and their financial responsibilities. We also assist them with any clerical service they require, translating, notarizing, and authenticating documents. We take pride in our work and we love what we do. To us our clients are our family.

Notary Services

We offer notary services to the public. if you need a document notarized, be sure to call us to confirm that the notary is available.

Federal Income Tax

Tax season begins on January 23 and ends on April 18. During that time we are taking appointments to file tax returns. Contact us to book an appointment.

Authentications

We authenticate and offer apostille services for documents such as birth certificates, marriage certificates, divorce decrees, etc.

Translations and Professional Letters in Spanish and English

We offer translation services to the public, as well as professional letters written in Spanish and English. Do you have a document or letter that you need translated or do you need a professional letter written for you? we can help

Jackie Briseno

Owner / Notary

Jackie Briseno has worked with Agencia Hispana as its owner for more than 10 years. She is one of our 3 Notaries at Agencia Hispana. Despite her busy schedule, she finds time to work one on one with our customers. Her foremost focus is the satisfaction of our customers.

Silvia Baldera

Office Manager / Tax Perparer

Silvia has been working hand in hand with Jackie throughout her ownership of Agencia Hispana to make it as prosperous as possible. She is one of Tax prepares, but is also our Office Manager assisting with daily administrative duties.

Carlos Romero

Notary / Tax Preparer

Carlos Romero is the previous owner of Agencia Hispana, but still finds the time to help the office. He is currently our primary notary and helps as a tax preparer during our tax season. He acts as a guide with his many years of experience in our field.

Mayra Pina

Tax Preparer

Mayra has worked with us for over 5 years. She initially started a volunteer under Jackie but soon became an integral part of our team. She handles most our document preparation as well as being another one of our tax preparers.

Laura Dominguez

Tax Perparer

Laura began working with Agencia Hispana when Mr. Romero was still the owner. She has been a tax preparer for over 15 years and has helped a verity of people. She cares very much for her customers, making sure she helps them where ever she can.

Monica Domingues

Recepcionist

Monica has worked with Agencia Hispana for 7 years, she assist with clerical work and tasks that may otherwise slip through the cracks. She is our primary receptionist and you will often see her up front, ready to help anyone that walks into our office.

Seyry Moreno

Personal Assistant / Notary

Seyry is the personal assistant to Jackie, getting first hand experience on what it take to run a company like Agencia Hispana. She began working with us in 2020 but has quickly become a valued member of our team. She is also the third Notary at Agencia Hispana.

Diego Regoitia

System Administrator

Diego is the newest and youngest of our team begining in 2021. He handles all our technology needs, from managing our network to making sure your information stays protected. Though he can sometimes be seen in reception giving a helping hand with our clients.
